Winemaker Notes
This wine is pale yellow in color with bright reflections. On the nose, it reveals fine fruit aromas. It is off dry, showing citrus flavours (grapefruit, lemon) and vivid acidity on the palate. Pairs well with shrimp and grilled fish, shells, poultry but also excellent with fresh goat cheese.
Philippe is part of a winemaker family that started to do wine in 1700 s. Now he owns vineyards on both sides if the Sancerre river which allows him to make several wines: Sancerre, Côteaux du Giennois, Pouilly Fumé.
