It s soft and pure in character, with ripe strawberry and cherry fruits that cascade across a core of bright acidity. This finishes incredibly fresh with a lingering spicy tension and hints of sour citrus.

Here s a fresh and fruit-forward Sangiovese to pair with pasta or home-cooked lasagna. The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino has bright cherry aromas with dried raspberry, redcurrant, sweet potting soil and grilled Mediterranean herb. Fruit comes from young vines aged seven to 20 years old. These are sharp and focused results with a silky mouthfeel for carefree drinking with family and friends. It ends a bit thin and short, but the acidity is welcome. This is an ample production of 60,000 bottles.
Winemaker Notes
The wine shows an intense and brilliant ruby red colour, giving the nose a rich and wide aroma, where fruity notes of plum and blackberry are linked to a sweet spiciness softened by elegant balsamic nuances. In the mouth the compact and ripe tannic texture is stimulated by a fragrant acidity which with balance leads to a savory, long and mineral finish.
Pair with all courses of a meal, the perfect enhancement for grilled red meats.
